I am a Certified Yoga Instructor, RYT 200, and have taken classes and workshops in Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction and Mindful Self-Compassion. Mindfulness and Meditation have truly transformed my life in ways I didn’t think possible. In college I began to suffer from recurring Panic Attacks and was diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, and even Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder. The traditional methods of care were ineffective in helping me to manage my anxiety, which only intensified the pain and suffering.

When I was in my Master’s program for Counseling Psychology, through research I discovered Mindfulness, Meditation, Mindful Self-Compassion, and Yoga. These methods of stress and anxiety management were so powerful that I was actually able to completely cure myself of the anxiety disorders I’d been suffering from. My life changed directions completely at that time, as I  ended my clinical studies, and decided to pursue a holistic approach to wellness and teaching others how to heal themselves through these same practices.
