Meditation & Mindfulness

“Mindfulness means paying attention in a particular way: on purpose, in the present moment, and nonjudgmentally.” - Jon Kabat-Zinn

In February of 2017 I attended a Mindful Self-Compassion workshop with Dr. Kristin Neff and Dr. Chris Germer in Grand Rapids, MI and it changed my life. The workshop awakened my passion for self-healing through the use of meditation, mindfulness, and self-compassion. I love to share these incredible practices so that others can begin their own healing process as well.

“Mindfulness shows us what is happening in our bodies, our emotions, our minds, and in the world. Through mindfulness, we avoid harming ourselves and others.” - Thich Nhat Hanh

Through my experience I was able to reduce my own stress through daily meditation and mindfulness practice. I was able to overcome recurring panic attacks, change unhealthy thought patterns that I had developed, and I was able to stop taking medication for my ADHD by increasing my ability to focus and redirect my thoughts. I’ve developed an authentic understanding of my true self and deepened my spiritual experience. Mindfulness and meditation practices have transformed my life and I find joy in sharing it with others so that they may have the same positive experience.
